EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a therapy technique that began as a tool to process trauma. Since its inception in the 1980’s, it has been discovered to support reduction in distress related to a host of other challenges such as anxiety, depression, phobias, and more.

I have found it to be a powerful tool to help better understand the impact of old stories we tell ourselves and to release that which no longer serves, resulting in lasting transformation and freedom from unnecessary suffering. I can use EMDR techniques in our work together both as a way to deepen the effects of talk therapy, or as a feature of our time together.
